Some crow might have to be consumed: The NFL's Carolina Panthers announced their practice squad and Bishop's running back Jamall Lee, who was in their camp until the final cutdown today, was not on it.
The Panthers were actually two players under the 53-man minimum, but signed another running back, Tyrell Sutton
The B.C. Lions drafted Lee in the first round of the 2009 CFL Canadian college draft. The speculation is no doubt well underway.
Wideout Sam Giguère (Sherbrooke), however, has made the Indianapolis Colts practice squad.
