Football: Regina D-lineman Spenser Borlase killed in car crash

It is hard imagine much worse than a family having to bury one of its children ... so spare a thought for the people who best knew Regina D-lineman Spenser Borlase, who died in a two-car collision late Friday night.
“I can’t say too much when feelings run as deep with the loss of someone like this, but also we have to recognize there were other people that died too We’re just trying to be supportive and recognize that we’ve suffered a loss, but so have others.” — Frank McCrystal, Rams coach

It's the second time in less than a year a young athlete from a Saskatchewan university has died. Brennan Jarrett, a 19-year-old U of S Huskies basketball player, lost his fight with cancer at Christmastime.
