It was a topic of a lot of speculation over the summer, but UNB has finally announced the commitment of goaltender Martin Houle, a former Flyers prospect and standout with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles in the Q. He was the AHL's Philadelphia Phantoms rookie-of-the-year in 2005-06, and he had a cup of coffee with the NHL club the next season. He will be red-shirting this season and will be eligible for next season with the Varsity Reds.
