Women's soccer: From Ottawa to Oklahoma

Usually, there is excitement over transfers coming from the U.S. to Canada. Amanda Robinson, an all-Canadian with the Ottawa Gee-Gees in 2007 who was with the national under-20 program this past season, is going the other way, to Oklahoma State.

Them's the breaks for Ottawa, one supposes. The OUA is a pretty good women's soccer league, but the Big 12 is probably a bit higher calibre. Since Robinson did not play collegiately last fall, she can play right away, with two years' eligibility for the Cowgirls.
