Media: Queen's student station holding funding drive

It is only sporting to spread that word that CFRC 101.9 (cfrc.ca in Kingston, the station which has given so many good Canadian broadcasters their start, is having its annual funding drive.

Live sports is a big part of the station. CFRC has aired Queen's Golden Gaels football games since time immemorial, and does a lot of hockey and basketball as well. Anyone who is interested in donating might want to make their call to 613-533-2572 for that fine hour of programming.

So break out these checkbooks, people. It's best to call from 4-6 p.m. ET on Friday, since that falls during Kingston's most listened to hour-long sports show, Offsides, which is basically the lead-in for Salt Water Music.
