Some notes:
- Your RPI leaders are: UBC (men's hoops), Windsor (women's hoops), UNB (men's hockey), Laurier (women's hockey), Alberta (men's volleyball), and UdeM (women's volleyball)
- Still a very close "race" between the SFU Clan, Windsor Lancers, and U of S Huskies in women's basketball. Odds are, you'd take the Clan if the final game were tomorrow, but it's interesting that they're all above .600 and all so close.
- Waterloo, in men's hockey, beat Lakehead twice and moved up to fourth nation-wide as a result.
- The Martlets' hockey team, while technically in second place, have been 3.8 goals better than the average team, nearly a goal ahead of Laurier. Nearing a four-goal advantage like that is an incredible accomplishment for such a low-scoring game.

I have to question the methodology behind the calculation when it ranks UBC ahead of Carleton, even if Carleton did play a weak RMC team.
ReplyDeletePoint taken, although there's not much difference between .609 and .606 so it could really go either way. (Let's not forget the Thunderbirds are pretty good.)
