Basketball: OUA West women's MVP might head Down Under

It's been a busy day, but here's a feature on Western's rebounding machine Bess Lennox. The all-Canadian forward was a finalist for national women's player of the year, which as you know went to UVic's Kayla Dykstra:
"While many players leave school and play in local senior leagues, Lennox is considering an offer to play in a women's professional league in Australia. She would be playing in a state league with an eye to making the top league.

"I'm very happy to be here. There's a lot that I would give up if my team would be out here with me," Lennox said. "I don't think winning awards helps you forget the loss in the playoffs. It's mostly just time. Time sort of dulls things a little bit. Time makes it easier." — London Free Press
