Joey Haywood's 27-point, 10-rebound double-double for Saint Mary's in its loss to No. 3 St. FX on Saturday means we're only a couple weeks overdue for a post on him.
Haywood, averaging 22.7 points and 6.4 rebounds in 13 games for SMU in his first season of university hoops, is well-established as a streetball legend (check out some of his thoughts on streetball from a 2005 interview with Hoops Vibe). Just going by his stats, King Handles, as he's known among the aficionados of the And1-genre streetball tours, is living up to his, advance notices.
