A tip of the cap is due to Laurier soccer midfielder Alyssa Lagonia, who is the only CIS player whom Canada is taking for the U20 Women's World Cup 2008 Chile which begins Nov. 19.
Ottawa Gee-Gees' Amanda Robinson was in camp out in Vancouver and gave it a good run in her first look-see with any national team.
Both of their teams also made it to the CIS championship, with begins tomorrow in Langley, B.C., despite losing one of their standouts just before the season.
