Not the greatest news for Guelph: Guard Jay Mott has his right arm in a sling after injuring his shoulder vs. RMC on the weekend.
Mott is third in OUA men's basketball scoring (21.2 points) and is a big part of what Guelph does on the court. The big question, with the OUA now in exam break, is whether he will be 100% by the time OUA West play begins on the Jan. 8-9 weekend.
Guelph is 3-5, in a three-way tie for the last playoff spot in a very competitive division. They almost upset Carleton on the opening weekend of conference play and four of their losses are by a total of 2.8 points.
