More picks for the Hec

Mr. Sager did a brilliant job running through the candidates for the Hec Crighton Trophy earlier this week, so much so that it made it tough to add much when it came time to put together a similar list in this week's dead-tree medium.

I canvassed a few coaches and CIS followers over the past couple of days as to who they felt were most deserving, and came up with a Top 4 of Teale Orban from Regina, Josh Sacobie from Ottawa, Jamall Lee from Bishop's and Erik Glavic from Saint Mary's.

Of course, there's plenty of time left for others to get in the mix and it's tough not to see anyone from Laval there — especially when Benoit Groulx will have an excellent chance to win it when all's said and done.

Right now, we're pretty quarterback heavy among the contenders, and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the first pivot win the MVP since Tom Denison in 2003.
