The Daily Gleaner's male and female athletes of the year--athletes from Frederiction? those who play in or are from Frederiction? can't tell--are UNB's Hunter Tremblay and Kelsey Hodgson, both of whom are the all-time leading pointgetters for their respective schools and sports. Hodgson, now playing professionally in Portugal, was ranked in the top five in PER nationwide each of the last three years. Hard not to get Fredericton Athlete of the Year after that. And at the Shoveller, it's an all-AUS final: Dalhousie vs. St. F-X, today at 3pm AT. SSN webcast here. (The Chronicle-Herald)

Manitoba's Steve Christie is happy about stopping all 28 shots against Lakehead, and avenging last year's two-game sweep in the same series. (tbnewswatch.com)
