There's an article in today's Bangor Daily News detailing how the Maine Black Bears have started playing O Canada before games since so many of their players have traditionally hailed from north of the border.

There's no truth to the rumour that it came about as the result of a bet with the neighbouring UNB Varsity Reds. Didn't UNB beat Maine over Christmastime last season?
