The Kingston Whig-Standard reported this morning that McMaster's fifth-year quarterback Adam Archibald suffered a concussion in the late stages of Queen's victory over the Marauders on Saturday.
Archibald, if memory serves, has had this happen to him before and it's a shame it happen again in his final season. Hopefully, he's all right. If he has to miss more than one game (Mac plays the U of T this week, so, you know), Mac could have to go with backup Kevin Fantham in its Sept. 29 home game vs. Ottawa.
It's been a tough season already for QBs -- Laval's Benoit Groulx and Windsor's Dan Lumley have already been laid up with injuries. Calgary's Casey Brown never made it out of pre-season.
