  1. About to head down to Richardson for fauxcoming. Here's to an 80-0 win or something like that :)

  2. Looking forward to Western emerging from Richardson with a 7-0 record.

And I don't see how Queen's is now the "class of the OUA." Queen's beat Guelph by 3 at home, Western beat Guelph by 2 on the road. Surely that couldn't have been the basis of your argument. Because then I would point out that Western beat Ottawa by 15, and Queen's beat Ottawa by 12.
It also can't be because Queen's destroyed York. So what is your reasoning?

  3. Who said Queen's was class of the OUA? I said it sarcastically.

  4. Right now, Top Ten that leaning toward, for what it is worth:

    1) Laval 2) Western 3) Calgary 4) Montréal 5) Saskatchewan 6) Queen's 7) St. FX 8) Saint Mary's 9) Guelph 10) Sherbrooke

  5. Queen's did not have its senior quarterback in that game. It also did not have Shomari Williams against Guelph, but no team is fully staffed every week. Every is short-handed somehow.

Queen's has won 20 of its last 25 games going back to late '06.

  6. I think that is putting Montreal a little high. I think Saskatchewan and Queen's are better.

  7. Sager says, "Queen's has won 20 of its last 25 games going back to late '06."

That's some dominant stuff. How have they done in the playoff?

cough, cough. . . sorry, I had something in my throat.

  8. Beware of small sample sizes, like a one-game playoff.

  9. Wasn't able to catch this one live made the MAC-Laurier game instead, but upon watching this on PVR it certainly made up for the past two showings (unfortunate for a Laurier fan to state this but it's true).

This was an amazing game and the reason why CIS ball can be very exciting to watch! Guelph is definitely in the mix now but Queen's and Western will decide the best in the conference, from my standpoint anyways. Although Guelph won't make it easy in the playoffs.
